Kim Clijsters doesn't play professional tennis anymore, but still has a very busy program at Wimbledon. She provides commentary for the BBC, participates in the Legends tournament and coaches Yanina Wickmayer. Does she ever think of coming back to the professional circuit? "Many people ask me about that, but it's really nothing for me anymore."
Clijsters lost her second doubles match at the Legends tournament, alongside Australian Rennae Stubbs. "It was a nice match. Navratilova and Black were eager to win, it's nice when it is so close."
When Venus Williams, 37 years old, is in the semifinals of a regular tournament, doesn't it do something to Clijsters? "That's what many people think, what people ask me: "Wouldn’t you come back? Because Venus and Serena are also still competing. But that's nothing for me anymore."
“I can still play tennis at the Legends tournaments and combine that with my work for TV and radio. That's perfect. I'm glad that I can be at home from time to time.”
